School! And my support Team!
Well school has started! We are going on day 4 now! It's going great. I have to quit work though, I can't do both, work and school and study and homework! Just not going to happen! Something is really bugging me right now. I was told I will not have much support from Travis' family, and that they were holding me back. Well right now, they are my biggest support team. I dont want to start anything, but I am frustrated right now. Travis is a big inspiration in my life, and so are his family. I got a card from his mom, just to say congratulations. Something so simple made me get tears in my eyes! My mom hasn't even said congratulations, or OH I'm so happy for you...And she probably never will. I told her about the things I had to do about getting ready, she said it was all bullshit! But I just want to say thanks to everyone, and this blog isn't meant to offend anyone, or cause anything!

Doesn't sound to me like Travis or his family is trying to hold you back....besides even if they were it'd be no one elses business but yours and you are your own person and make up your own mind about things.
Don't worry about it, you're smart enough to make your own judgements and decisions!! I wish you lots of luck in the course and I am very happy for you that you get to take it! I bet you're very happy too but not so much about all the homework! lol
I know you've wanted to take a course like this for a long time and I am very happy for you to finally be able to persue a career you've wanted to for a long time!
The sad thing is, that sounds just like the mom of yours I remember, but that doesn't make it right. She should be happy for you and proud of you. Try not to let it get you down. It's not worth it.
It might be tough but keep your head up and stay positive cuz it will be worth it in the end!!!

I'm really proud of you. You are doing what you set out to do and can DO IT.
As DR says it sounds like Travis and his family are supporting you. I am supporting you as well and I know others are too.
Keep your chin up and look at the bigger picture. All your friends and family that you have that are supporting you are here for you.

I just want you to know that you will do just fine. You have a lot of friends and most importante you have Travis. His family just being their will be a support. We are all cheering you on and hoping you will succeed. And we all know you will. You are such a nice sweet kind caring young lady you deserve to have the best. I know your mothers support is very important to you, but she doesnt seem to have the strength, just try to forgive her and you just remain strong and keep working on building a life with Travis.
